I’m so happy we don’t have classes anymore!
After a super busy week – exams and all, now at least I can relax and just bum around. I’m going to be busy again this Saturday because we (family) will prepare to visit my mom and brother at the cemetery. My Ate and I will buy flowers at Dangwa and it’s always chaotic in that place especially that day when all the people buy flowers for their dearly departed loved ones.
I hope and pray that typhoon Santi will leave the country this Friday so we will not have a rainy All Saints’ Day. I don’t like it when it rains because when there’s a heavy downpour the cemetery always get flooded and who likes flood, right?

Have a wonderful life…
Make a list of ten blessings you got today.
Having an attitude of gratitude is one of the best ways to shoo a bad day away. It reminds us to keep our eyes ever open to the many gifts God continually gives us!
My friend Nibby called the other day and she told me the bad news about her dad. Uncle Bon (Nibby’s dad) suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized for almost a month. That is sooo sad. I also scolded Nibby for not telling me about it, I could have visit or do something to help her…
Nibby told me that it was so chaotic and she didn’t tell me since she knows how I hate going to the hospital since mom died but I told her it’s different. Yes, I hate going to hospitals but visiting her dad and comforting her family is exemption to the rule. I also learned that the insurance of her dad had save them from paying the hospital bills. After we talked, I called my Aunt Cara and told her about Nibby”s dad. My aunt is Nibby’s godmother and their families are good friends. She’s shocked about the sad news and asked about Uncle Bon’s health and about the family. We chatted for a while then I told her how I realized the importance of having an insurance. She told me that she and her hubby are searching for term life insurance quotes that night. She asked about everybody then after learning that everyone’s fine, we finally said goodbye.
Having an insurance is really important so I think I also need to search for one. Bye for now!
Sushi is not the Japanese food that we love to eat. Sushi is the name that I gave when I insisted to my Ate to create a pet in Pet Society.
Since I’ve been so hooked to FB games, I told my ate to try playing Pet Society. At first, she doesn’t like to play any games because she’s happily contented playing that irritating ball game in Yahoo games. Three days after creating Sushi, her paw points level in PetSoc is soaaariiing high! Hahaha!
She gained more rooms, super soap, super brush, a golden ball, etc. She’s been so addicted that she can’t stop playing her pet Sushi. My Ate’s also a Mystery box addict! Hahaha!
Now, she knows how I feel in playing FB games. It’s soooo addictive you can’t stop playing.
Our pet dog, Kutcha, has been with us for years. He was given to us by a relative when he was still a pup. My dad is the one in charge to take care of him. Lately, though, my dad noticed that Kutcha is becoming weak. When we had him checked by a veterinarian, we were told that it was because of the food that my dad made him eat. Leftover food, that is. We were advised to give him dog food that his body really needs.
A family friend told us about the holistic dog food that they are giving their dogs. And how the food is making their dogs strong and healthy. My dad immediately told me to research about it and I was directed to HealthyPetFoodToYourDoor.com, a web site dedicated to bringing healthy food that will give what your pet’s body needs. Visit the site now if you are interested like us.
Randolf Serrano of Bayantel DSL, STOP SPAMMING MY BLOG!!!
When I needed someone from your stupid company to check on our DSL, you won’t give me the time of day. Now that it is already fixed (and I am sure that is the reason you are now brave enough to say that you will help me!), then you are adamant in knowing what our problem was with your stupid Bayantel DSL!
Tell your stupid company that next time, ACT WHEN YOU ARE NEEDED! Not when the problem already fixed itself! I NEEDED SOMEONE FROM BAYANTEL TO CHECK MY PROBLEM WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM! Not now!!! It took your freakin’ company more than 1 week to give us back our DSL connection! 1 week! When PLDT, Globe and all the other DSL providers were fine and giving their subscribers the same connection before Ondoy. Bayantel, on the other hand, was out for more than a week. Even your stupid landline service was out! And your Customer Service people couldn’t even give a decent update on what happened or when the services would be back!
So, Randolf Serrano of Bayantel DSL, stop spamming my blog or I will write something derogatory about Bayantel every time you leave a comment!!!
I’m really into FB right now and I admit I’m kinda neglecting my blog.
I’m trying the farm life and got sooo hooked playing Farmville and Farm Town. Who isn’t, right? Aheheh!
If you’re not into playing online games, I’ll warn you not to try one. Really! Because if you do, I’m telling you, you could sit all day and just plaaay! You will also neglect all the things that you need to do because you’ll never notice the time. Hay, need to stop this addiction…
Well for the next few days I promise I’ll write as many entries as possible. Hay, I didn’t know that FB is superb addictive. My Ate’s telling me that I’m wasting my time playing but truly I can’t help it! Sigh! I’m also glad that I have an account because aside from the games, I was also able to see my highschool friends again.
My Aunt’s house was destroyed by Typhoon Ondoy. The flood in their area was neck-deep high so most of their things was now beyond repair. Luckily my Aunt and her hubby is kinda well-off so replacing those things are not that hard for them.
The bedroom of their child was destroyed by flood and also most of the stuffs at their living room. Last night she called and told us that most of our cousin’s things had been replaced. The living room is currently under renovations and she’s asking for help because she wants to have a modern-minimalist-type of room. They already bought a Plasma and they’re looking for slimline mounts and I’m like – whoa! A Plasma TV after the flood, sooo lucky!
The great thing about my Aunt and Uncle is that they also share what they have or their blessings. They also help our other relatives who were flooded and they also donated some amounts to relief operations. Maybe that’s why they’re blessed, they always share what they have.
My friend is very pretty but now she’s having an acne attack due to bad weather. Yup, we have the same problem – bad weather = bad skin but her face is worst! She already have acne and that makes her soo irritable most of the time. Well, who wouldn’t? A pretty face with clear skin but now have acne, yikes! :undecided
She’s also been doing a research about acne and how to treat it. It’s just superb sad because she have this pretty face but with acne all over it, hay poor girl!
I just wish our skin problem will be treated soon! Very soon!
Due to bad weather (typhoon then the sun will shine then rain again), my skin is breaking out!
I’m starting to have a couple of pimples and I’m afraid it will lead to acne. Oh no! :??
I’ve been observing for the last few days the effects of different soaps that I’m using for my face but unfortunately most of them doesn’t clear my skin. Now, I’m researching for what’s best to use because who wants pimples / acne, right? My friends are recommending some pimple treatment products. Well, I hope it works.. I will also Google the best acne treatment later just to be sure on what to use.
I really hate it when I have pimples. I wish we no longer have bad weather anymore because bad weather is always equal to bad skin days. Hmmph!

Have a wonderful life…
Say a prayer for someone you know is in need.
Prayer is a little thing we can all do but something that has life-changing results. It makes us more loving and sensitive to others’ needs. At the same time, God listens, and we see things happen!
Thanks to Papemelroti I have 40 boredom busters that I’m going to share with you to keep kids busy, developing skills, being creative, learning new stuff, all day, everyday!
This is one of the boredom busters that I was able to do during my one week (no classes) vacation. Dazzle your friends and family with this trick! Remember, practice makes perfect. Don’t be sad if you can’t do it the first time.
For this trick you should all be sitting down together.
You need
tissue paper
salt shaker
coin
Instructions:
- Put the coin on the table in front of you. Tell everyone you are going to attempt to punch the coin through the table with this trick.
- Put the salt shaker on top of the coin.
- Cover the salt shaker with the tissue, making sure that it shows the shape of the salt shaker.
- Here comes the tricky part – tell them that you are going to try to push the coin trough the table!!!
All their eyeswill focus on the coin – meanwhile, with your hands holding the tissue over the shaker, drop the salt shaker on your lap. The tissue holds its shape and it seems the shaker is still there. - Finally, put the tissue over the coin, and slam your fist down on it – they will all wonder where the salt shaker went!!!
Now I know what to do next time we don’t have classes. Do it with the whole family and surely you will have lots of fun!
Lover’s in Paris the Koreanovela that we sooo love before, now has a Pinoy version. Unfortunately, the Pinoy version is not as good as the original and I think the title should be change too. It should be Bad Actors in Paris instead of Lover’s in Paris. LOL
KC Concepcion (Vivian) and her boobs acting sucks, Piolo Pascual’s (Carlo) voice when he’s mad is sooo gay pitchy, almost screaming like a girl! Zanjo “the saliva man” Marudo (Martin) is another super duper major bad-ham-acting-to-the-max! He looks like he haven’t showered for a month and smelled like a spoiled saliva! Yuck! And that Maricar Reyes (Karen) who has a voice of a grandma and badly needs an extensive acting workshop (together with the rests of the casts) – looks sooo prim and proper but at the back of your mind, you cannot help but think how wild she is. Remember the sex scandal? I think the only actors that give justice to their roles are those who are portraying sidekicks: K Brosas and Hyubs whatever-his-name.
See because of the casts the title should not be Lover’s in Paris anymore but Bad Actors in Paris. Right?
No classes and no Internet connection for 1 week so I just bum around and became a certified couch potato. Luckily our cable connection was not affected by typhoon Ondoy but unfortunately there’s nothing new in HBO and other cable channels so I always switch to local / news channels.
At night after the news, we (family) would watched all the soap operas whenever there’s nothing new in cable channels. One of the soap that we soooo hate but still watch is Lover’s in Paris. The Pinoy version of the Koreanovela that became such a big hit here in the Philippines. KC Concepcion’s role is Vivian (the lead actress – super lovable, funny, always-at-awe-kind-of-girl) but her acting as Vivian is superb bad! Honestly, you want to rip her head off or if the TV is not expensive you’ll surely smash it! That’s how bad she is, truly! She doesn’t give justice to the role and I know most of you will agree. She’s super corny when she’s trying to be funny and my gosh, if not for that pretty face or if not for Sharon Cuneta, I doubt if she’ll be an actress. I cannot believe that she’s didn’t inherit the acting genes of her parents (both are great actors). If she’s not the daughter of Sharon Cuneta (out of respect), I bet a lot of press people will pick on her. :undecided
And please will somebody tell KC to stop showing off her boobies? She always love to show her twins. I know she’s well endowed and I bet if she did not belong to a respected family, she’ll probably or gamely pose for FHM or Maxim. I don’t remember a scene from the original Lover’s in Paris wherein Vivian is just covered by a towel. And yet last Friday night, KC had to flaunt her boobies again, yes, there’s a towel but she’s showing a major lot of skin while doing a super duper major bad acting! :?? She’s always showing her cleavage not only in Lover’s in Paris but also in her not-so-blockbuster-movies. Ever wonder why she’s always showing a cleavage or her boobies? Well she’s doing that because she’s a bad actress and that’s what they do, right? Show a lot of cleavage or a major skin to compensate for the bad acting. Sorry KC but you really sucks as an actress! Piece of advice, stop acting and just stick to doing commercials or better yet just use your pretty face and focus on your campaign for UNICEF. I’m sure people will stop criticizing you if you do that.
Bayantel really sucks!
We have no Internet connection and landline for one week and guess who’s our service provider – Bayantel. Yup, that Bayantel, the only one who always get disconnected everytime there’s blackout and or typhoons.
Our landline and DSL connection was cut before 12 noon, Saturday (September 26) and we thought that it will come back that night or the next day but of course, we should know better, Bayantel always sucks! Imagine they were able to deliver the bill last Sunday (September 27) – when it comes to collecting bills they’re always on time but in reconnecting their services, hay, I can rant the whole week about it!
To Bayantel please upgrade your things or whatever that needs to be upgraded so everytime there’s blackout or especially during typhoon you will not be disconnected. Don’t lose your clients especially the good payers like us! :??
It was a dream of mine to own a condo in pensacola florida. It is just so unfair that the filthy rich are the only ones given a chance to own one. I am sure that working hard can also give me the opportunity to own a condo unit but it will take a while. Possibly a few years. I just want a place I can proudly call my own.
We have no internet connections and landline for one week. Luckily last night our landline was back but ufortunately still no DSL connection. I was able to talked to my cousins and asked about their conditions, thank God, they wre all safe.
I also talked to my Aunt and I just learned yesterday that their house was flooded. Their safe now and their house was already cleaned. She told me that they had to evacuate to their second floor because the flood was neck-deep high. She even laugh when she remembered how panicky they were at that time. Thank goodess nobody got hurt and their house was restored again. Fortunately they have maids and some of my Aunts went to their house last Friday to help them in cleaning up. I’m so proud of our “bayanihan” attitude and the other one is that we can still smile even in times of troubles. I think we have this thing of smiling or laughing at our problems. At news, I’m so impress when I saw the people at crampy evacuation centers laugh / smile or even wave at cameras. I remember seeing footages from Hurricane Katrina, the people from New Orleans or other affected areas were cryiing or so devastated that it feels like the end of the world. But here, when the flood was roof-deep some people even smile or joke about their situations. Crazy? Nah, truly we are just one of the happiest people in the world!
Pinoys always have a smile to give. Imagine, I even saw toothless people who still smile when they were interviewed. I was talking to my sister about Plano cosmetic dentist and I told her that if those toothless people could just avail their services I bet they’ll have the perfect smile!
