My cousin from North Carolina had called the other day for their condolences to our family. When she was a kid, she had stayed for two years at my grandma’s house. She’s grateful for that years because my grandma had never treated her as other kid. She treated her like her own grandchild.

We had a long chat the other day. We talked about families and our lives. I learned that she’s a supervisor now. Her children are doing good. Her only problem is her dentures. My grandma died last Saturday. She’s 77 years old. She died due to complications of Diabetes. Yesterday, she was laid to rest, she was cremated. It’s so sad that she was gone but it’s also a good thing because she will no longer feel the pain and will not suffer anymore.

Goodbye Mama. We love you so much and we’re very grateful that you are our grandmother. You helped us with our lives, paid out tuition fees when we were studying – your generosity will always be remembered. Mama, you will see mommy again and please give her a kiss from me. Rest in peace, Mama. I know you, Willyboy and Mommy are happy in the place of our Creator. Someday, we will see each other again. Goodbye Mama, goodbye.

Two months from now, my sister will celebrate her birthday. I’m thinking of buying her books because she loves to read so much. She’s a bookworm like me. Actually, she’s the one who introduced me to reading. She handed me a Sweet Dreams pocketbook and from that day until now books are my greatest companions.

My sister will surely love my gift. I’m looking for bestsellers that she told me that she wanted to buy. I’m going to search online for books so I could order already. I can’t wait to hear her squeal when she opened my gift.

My sister, Ninin and I saw “The Karate Kid” yesterday. It’s a feel good movie and Jaden Smith is a good actor. Jackie Chan, he’s superb! I had seen all the “Karate Kid” series and the Karate Kid now is also as good as before. I hope you will enjoy watching it like I do! Happy weekend everyone!!!

Sally wants to become an insurance agent. She’s patient, she works hard and she’s also a team player. I asked her why she wants to become an insurance agent when she could be something else, something better. She told me that she find the job exciting, challenging and rewarding. Oh well, if she’s happy about it then go for it, right?

Sally is now looking for different insurance advertising that could help her with the job. I wish her success. With her determination and with her attitude, I know she’ll be one of the top insurance agent in our country. Best of luck!

My younger sister is also a teacher like me. The other day we had a chitchat about her life and then she mentioned that she wants to have an insurance. I told her that she could look for insurance online and find one that she likes. We talked a bit longer then we decided to hit the mall. I had fun bonding with my sister.

My cousin is thinking to buy a new car. She wants to have one because she’s having a hard time commuting from one place to another. She also recently got her driver’s license and was very excited about it. Yesterday she called me to ask if I know a cheap auto insurance that she could get after buying her car. I told her that I’ll ask my insurance agent. She also promised that she’ll give me a ride when she’ll have the car. Can’t wait for that!

I’m sad that earlier I saw the season finale of Glee. I really enjoyed watching it. I still remember the first time that I saw the series is when Kurt and the baseball players danced to the tune of Single ladies. That instant I fell in love with Glee!

Ooooh can’t wait for the next season. Can’t wait to hear the songs that the casts will sing. I love Finn and Rachel, though there were times that she’s annoying. I’ll miss Kurt and Mercedes, I’ll miss the whole cast.

There are lots of new things at our faculty. I’m so glad that it has been renovated and they bought modern office furniture to match the new faculty room.

My colleagues and I are very excited and happy that we have more rooms to work at. Now, I don’t have to bring loads of work at home anymore. I hope that the faculty will stay neat forever. It really becomes messy on the middle part of the school year.

Speaking of my dad, he will be my bff’s godfather at her wedding. My dad had witnessed how my bestfriend’s love to her soon-to-be-husband had bloomed. He and mom had witnessed it since we always hang around in the house. That’s the reason why they want daddy to be part of their wedding.

Daddy is hesitant at first to accept the invitation because he doesn’t want to dress up. I just told him not to worry because my sister and I will be the one to look after his suit. My sister is planning to buy a tuxedo for the wedding. I can’t wait to see daddy wearing formal clothes again.

My dad is the most important man in my life. I remember when we were kids, Daddy would always give us 2 pesos before he leaves for the office. My siblings and I would always look forward to that coins. Now, my dad is not working anymore but he still work – for us. Since mommy died, he took care of us like what mom did. He is now a dad/mom to us. I love my dad so much! And now that Father’s day is just a stone throw away, my siblings and I are thinking of giving him something that he will really love.

A ring to die for!

I’m a jewelry fanatic and if I only have lots of money, I’m sure I will collect dozens and dozens of it! My friend, Brenda had showed me a set of jewelry that her mother had given her. It’s so gorgeous! She also told me about wholesale diamonds that she and her mother is looking forward to collect. Diamonds are forever and the best thing to collect. Brenda showed me some pictures and I gasped at how perfect they are. Diamonds, oh I love diamonds! I will have a set someday. Promise!

My cousin called last night and she excitedly told me that she received a surprise gift from my Aunt. She and two of her friends will have an Orlando vacation next week. It’s a surprise vacation that she is always dreaming of. My Aunt gave her that gift because it’s a sort of a reward for being in the honor roll and of course, for not giving her a headache.

I’m so happy for my cousin. I’m also proud on her achievements. She really deserve that vacation!

Classes had started last Monday. This week we just have a transition period at the SPED department. Orientation about the school, practicing the school hymn and watching educational shows afterward. Earlier, I sat beside a new student. He has Down syndrome and is non-verbal. I smiled and said hello to him which he really likes. He started waving at my face then started to answer all the questions of the teacher by just pointing his fingers. He is showing off and I had a good laugh when he insist that he’ll give me his seat. What a sweet boy!

On Monday, it will be the start of the regular class schedule. I just hope that I will have a good school year and no major problems to deal with.

School days are just a stone throw away and people are starting to buy school supplies for their children. Our little Ninin will be an incoming Nursery and she’s all set for school. We, my sister, Ninin and I, bought her things the other day and we used my sister’s credit card since we run out of cash.

Our little girl is so excited with her new things. She’s always wearing her shoes, modeling her new bag and uniform. We can’t wait to see her on her first day of school.
