Gracie, my friend, is always complaining of dark eye circles and she had difficulty concealing it. Her friend had recommended a cucumber but it only made the eye area yellowish and it doesn’t look good. She’s been searching for eye creams that would be effective to her. After graduating, he plans to take a Masteral Degree and we all supported him with his decision.

Instead of going to Hong Kong Disneyland, we decided to go to Boracay instead. We plan to go there this December or early next year. Wow, I’m really excited to go there. By just looking at the pictures, it feels like the water is inviting you to dip your toes then your whole body. It’s so beautiful and and the place looks so peaceful. I received an e-mail from my cousin in California. She’s informing us that she and her husband will visit us next month. Her husband wanted to travel the Philippines. They’ve been here before but with limited vacation days, they just went to visit relatives and some historic places. I told my cousin that they are welcome to stay with us. She called after a few minutes and she told me they are planning to go to different beaches or do some island hopping. She also told me stories about her husband. Her husband is a nature lover and a professional photographer. They would always use their motor home whenever they go camping but sadly it needed some repairs. They are looking for motor home repairs so they could already use it when they come back.

I went to my friend’s house because it’s her mom’s birthday. When I enter their gate, I immediately saw her mom’s happy face. Aunt Carol is a very jolly person. She will always welcome me with a smile and a hug.

Aunt Carol looks like she’s only in her thirties but the candles on her cake says she’s already fifty-three. I told her that she doesn’t look her age then I ask her what’s the secret to looking so young. She told me that her secret is happiness plus she’s using the best best eye cream for wrinkles that’s why her face is youthful looking. A happy face and an eye cream, ageless!

Aside from going to Hong Kong and other Asian countries, my dream destination is to go to Orlando Florida. There’s also a Disneyland in there and other theme parks that will make me feel like a little girl again. My cousin had told me about Orlando vacations. She resides in USA and she and her husband had celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in Orlando. Her husband surprised her with a vacation package. I’m happy for them and I jokingly told her that I’ll be more happy if they will invite me to join them in Orlando next time. She laughed and said yes.

For almost a year, our family is planning to go to Hong Kong Disneyland this December. Sadly we canceled our trip due the most humiliating and very tragic thing that happen last month. The hostage tragedy had affected so many lives. Ours is so petty compared to those with loved ones who died because of that stupid thing.

Our little girl was so sad when she heard about the cancellation of the trip but when we explained to her why, she just nod her head and had requested for a toy. It’s a dream for me to go to Disneyland and I’m really disappointed for not going there. No more HK Disneyland for this year but hopefully we can go there next year when all wounds have healed.

A friend of mine is planning to open a Day Care Center and she’s inviting me to join her in her business. I really wanted to accept her offer but unfortunately I’m committed to my present school. I signed a contact for three years and I cannot leave the school for another year. I told my friend that I will still help her in building the school. In fact, I have already search for the things needed for the school. I also search for wooden swing sets for the playground. She thanked me for my efforts and she told me that she will wait until I’m free to join her. Building a school is a dream of mine, so, it’s a deal!

Rachel went to our school earlier and she bring along her cutie pie son. Sean, her baby, is getting bigger and bigger everyday. I told her that it felt like we just visit her from the hospital after she gave birth and now her baby is already one month old. He is such a cutie! Rachel is using ergo baby carrier so that Sean will be comfortable wherever they go. He looks so peaceful while he sleeps and he really smelled so good! He is sooo adorable!

Last Sunday, my aunt Windy visited us and she bought a matouk for our grandma. Nanay loves how soft the blankets are. Aunt Windy had told us that her mother-in-law from the United States had bought several blankets for them. She thought of giving one to Nanay because she knows Nanay will love it.

We chatted for hours while eating pizzas and pastas. Nanay also made a yummy leche flan for our desserts. It’s nice to bond with my aunt and grandma again.

Aside from shopping, My sisters and I loves traveling or going to different places. Last month, Ate, Ninin and I went to Manila Ocean Park. We had fun touring around although we felt like we got dupe when we went to see the jelly fish. We paid another entrance fee for that and it’s really not worth it. Oh well, at least we still had fun.

My sister told me that her boyfriend had bought an mbt shoes. I was really clueless on what kind of shoes is that. She was telling me that she wanted to order for one and she’s encouraging me to do the same. She told me the shoes can help me lose weight and tone up my muscles. Upon hearing that, I was really curious and made a mental note to search for it later that night.

I made some research and I found out that MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology. Simply put, these are shoes that were designed to simulate walking around barefoot in the sand. The shoes can really help you in losing weight and tone your muscles. Hmmm, sounds a footie goodie for me and I’ll tell my sister to order for me, too.

My cousin Hazel and I chatted the other day. We talked about families, a little gossip and the best topic – shopping! We both love going to the mall but Hazel is the certified shopaholic. Me, I don’t tend to buy stuffs because I’m in the mall. It’s not necessarily that I would buy things whenever I go out because there were times that I just like to stroll around. Hazel on the other hand, cannot leave the mall without buying anything.

Hazel told me that whenever she’s sick or cannot go out, she would shop online or buy things at online auction. She gave me the link and you can see everything that you want. There are lots of cute stuffs that you can buy and sometimes with a much cheaper price. I thanked Hazel for the info and I told her that we should definitely shop sometime.

I remember how excited I am to see that the mall where we go to is being renovated. They’re making it as one of the biggest malls in Asia. I remember how much in awe I am with the steel buildings and the structure of the mall. I kept on saying how it would be so big and lovely to walk into.

After the construction was finished, I am so right about how beautiful and grand the building had become. There are lots of new shops and I really went gaga, the first time I toured it. It’s really an awesome structure and the place is really a haven for a mall rat like me.

I always find time to go to the mall. Whenever I’m stress out or I don’t feel like working, there at the mall you will see me. I always go with my sister and our little girl. We are definitely mall rats.

I remember when I was a kid that every Sunday,our parents would always bring us to the mall. We will not go home empty handed. My siblings and I would always buy stickers or toys that would make us very happy. Eversince, going to the mall always makes me giddy! I love malls and it’s one of the happiest place for me.

Vanj told me that they finally ordered for wedding invitations and she’s excited to show it to me. Actually, she just showed me the draft because the invitations that they ordered will be delivered next month. The wedding is getting nearer. Three months from now, I will walk down the aisle as a Maid of Honor. Just by thinking about it makes me really nervous.

Speaking of vacation, my friend in the United States had told me that her husband had surprised her with Branson vacation packages. She’s too happy about it because it’s been quite a while since their last vacation. She can also choose different vacation packages that makes her ecstatic.

She is also looking forward to this vacation because she wanted to rest and become pregnant. They are planning to have a baby and this is a good time to do that. I told my friend that I’m happy for her and that I will pray that the good Lord will bless them with a healthy baby.
