One of the reality series that I really love watching is Project Runway. It will be aired on the 20th of August on Lifetime Television. There’s also a new show that is going to be introduce “Models of the Runway”. I don’t know if it will be aired along with Project Runway or if it is a separate series but it will also premiere on the 20th of August.

Here are some trivia on my favorite reality series:

Project Runway is a Peabody Award-winning American reality television series on Lifetime Television, previously on the Bravo network which focuses on fashion design and is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum. The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme. Their designs are judged and one or more designers are eliminated each week.

The as-yet unaired sixth season was the first season of Project Runway to be filmed in Los Angeles rather than New York. The season was filmed at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and pre-finale filming concluded on Friday, October 17, 2008.

The sixth season had been announced to begin airing in January 2009 on Lifetime, but this did not occur. The announcement occurred before NBC Universal sought preliminary injunctive action effectively enjoining production. The launch was further delayed due to Lifetime’s request that the suit between NBC Universal and The Weinstein Co. be removed to federal court.

The three finalists of the sixth season showed their collections at New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park on February 20, 2009, but the finalist designers were not named and did not appear onstage. Their identities were kept secret to protect the suspense when the season airs on television.

On April 1, 2009, the lawsuit between Weinstein Co. and NBC Universal was settled, with Weinstein agreeing to pay NBC an undisclosed sum for the right to move the show to Lifetime. The season will air on Lifetime beginning August 20 2009 and will feature guests judges such as Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria Parker, and Lindsay Lohan. -Wikipedia

Our family have been religiously watching Dare Duo on QTV. Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez are the perfect hosts and they’re superb cutie! Dare Duo is a fun show with lots of adventure, excitement and thrills! It offers the guests the chance to fulfill their dreams together with the wittiest hosts in town. So much fun!
Watching the show makes you want to challenge yourself to go for your dreams. If only I’m not that scared I’d join this show. I would like to dare myself to bungee jump or do skydiving but I’m so scared of falling (speaking of irony) and getting hurt plus I’m not physically fit to do that. Hay, but these are some of the things that I really wanted to do… I don’t want to grow old and not doing things that I’ve dreamt of doing. I’m hoping that someday or sooner I’ll crack my shell, become adventurous and go out and explore the world! :P

I love watching reality shows specially when it’s about fashion. One of the shows that I really like is Tim Gunn’s Guide To Style. It’s about seeking advice on what to wear on different occasions. The show starts with Tim Gunn and Greta Monahan (co-host) reviewing and then discarding most of the guest’s existing wardrobe. Another segment involves the us of OptiTex fashion design software to illustrate the appearance of different fashions on a computer simulation of the guest, followed by a solo shopping spree for “ten essential items,” which the hosts then critique. The guest will also meet with specialty consultants, such as designers, hairdressers or runway coaches, for one-on-one coaching. The show ends with a reveal to the guest’s friends and family to show off the changes in their style.

You can really see the transformation of the guest and the happiness that radiates in her. Watch this show and I’m telling you, you will learn a lot about your body and fashion!

What’s the big deal about Adam Lambert losing the American Idol? Everyone seems disappointed and depressed, why??? I mean, sure a lot of people says he’s sooo good, the total performer blah blah blah.

But Kris Allen really deserves to win! His voice is more of a top-of-the-hits-radio-friendly kind of thing. Pure talent. He has a great voice and doesn’t need to shout the song (just to get more attention) all the time! For me, it looks like real talent wins over theatrics!

Have you seen the reality series Jon and Kate plus 8? Well if not, it’s about the Gosselin family, consisting of parents Jon and Kate and their eight children—a set of fraternal twin girls and a set of sextuplets (three girls and three boys, all fraternal). The show follows the family through their daily lives, focusing on the challenges of raising multiple children.

The twins – Cara Nicole and Madelyn “Mady” Kate Gosselin were born, six minutes apart on October 8, 2000. The sextuplets – in birth order: Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas, Leah Hope and Joel Kevin were born on May 10, 2004 via Caesarean Section within a span of three minutes with more than fifty doctors, nurses, and other specialists involved. Lately, Jon & Kate are all over the news due to being unfaithful to each other. Both are allegedly having an affair – Jon to a slut teacher and Kate to a loser her bodyguard. They have serious marital problems and the issue will be addressed in the upcoming season of their television show, premiering May 25. How sad for the kids, mommy and daddy doesn’t love care about each other anymore! Tsk tsk tsk!

I love watching reality series and one of the shows that I like is the Rachel Zoe Project. Rachel Zoe is a celebrity stylists who attempts to balance her professional life with her personal life while dealing with her fighting assistants and her husband-partner Rodger Berman. The Rachel Zoe Project also features Zoe’s longtime assistant Taylor Jacobsen and Brad Goreski, Jacobsen’s newly hired assistant who clash due to conflicting personalities.

The series is always full of drama between Taylor (who doesn’t comb her hair) and Brad. It also shows how Rachel handles all the stress – fashion related or not. I love it when Rachel dresses the celebrities and makes them sooo glamorous it makes you wanna die of envy! That’s bananas!

I have been watching the reality series “18 Kids and Counting” on TLC and Discovery Health Channel. It’s about the Duggar family – Jim Bob and Michelle and their 18 children. The eight girls and ten boys all have names starting with the letter “J”. The children’s names are Joshua, Jana and John-David (twins), Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah and Jeremiah (twins), Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, and Jordyn-Grace. All of them looks like they still live in 1980’s and the girls are “mini me” of the mom and same as the boys to their dad! 18 kids and counting, what is she a pig?

I get so soooo annoyed and felt pretty sorry for the kids everytime I watched the show. Mom is always giddy and lives in a fairytale world, everything is perfect for her. Dad is the leader of the cult, smooth talker and a real sex machine. Their army of slaves children are assigned with all the household tasks that you could think of and even taking care of the newborn. No more chores are left for mom and dad but to make babies! Gggrrr, disgusting!
