I have a dilemma, a good one if you can call it that. I intend to invest my money on coins. Not ordinary ones but silver coins. My dilemma is this: do I buy silver coins now or wait for my bonus paycheck to come in first? I want to buy as many as my money will allow.

But my bonus paycheck will come in by last week of April. I want to buy the silver coins NOW. I guess I have to be patient and wait if I really want to get as many as my cash can buy.

Okay. April then.

With the Anawangin invitation hovering over my head, I am reminded of the trip I took with my best friends from high school. We went to a log cabin owned by the husband of one of my best friends. It is atop a hill somewhere outside the city and what I thought was a house with only log furniture in it turned out to be a small villa with all the amenities of being in a hotel room!

I enjoyed my stay there and was actually waiting for another invite that I know will come any day now. I am not really fond of the outdoors so the Anawangin trip is still 50-50 to me. But the trip back to that log cabin is very welcome and much anticipated.

I want to live a well-balanced life wherein it’s not all work and home life for me but one where I will also get to enjoy the benefits of my hard work. I want to go out more, travel and shop some for myself. I want to be able to indulge and pamper myself which I’ve been depriving myself for years.

But that well-balanced life should never give me any debt in the process. I am saying NO to debts since I almost got bankrupt from it. Credit cards maxed out, personal loans left and right… that won’t happen to me anymore.

I will enjoy myself, yes, but only with the money I have.

Who would have thought that her father-in-law can be that generous to her? He gave her Black diamond earrings on her birthday last week. It was the first time he’s given her something as expensive as that. He is really old now and he told her that it’s time for him to start giving away the excess he has.

She told her husband that and he just smiled sadly. Her husband knows that the old man’s years here on earth are already numbered. He is happy with the gift she got and he told her that it suits her.

My friend is now a mother of twins. She has no nanny so she takes care of both her twins alone plus every household chores when her husband is in the office. She learned how to multi task or nothing will be done on time. Her twins are thankfully both very kind to her when she has to do the dishes and the laundry. And good thing that she has a bosch dishwasher as well as a heavy duty washing machine.

Being a mother is no easy feat. Especially if you are taking care of your kids without the help of anybody.

Mae wants to use tanning sprays so she can have the same lovely skin tone as that of the model she saw on the runway. She and her friends plan to hit the beach next month and she really plans on sunbathing until she turns golden. But for now the tanning sprays will do.

She will really have to double her efforts in sunbathing if she wants a natural olive complexion. She is naturally fair complexioned but she’s always wanted to have a darker skin as she finds it really beautiful.

Every one of us should have close women friends with whom we feel a kinship with. Those we can call sisters by heart. Those friends who will warn us when they feel we are about to commit a huge mistake and who will stand by us no matter if we committed that huge mistake. Those are the girl friends I am talking about.

If you have a great girl friend who doesn’t have someone to celebrate Valentine’s Day with, buy gifts for girlfriends and give one to her.

She deserves it for sticking it out with you over the years!

I told my best friend to keep up the good work of making her woman happy. He sends her flowers via EZBloomers.com flower delivery not only on special occasions but also whenever he feels like it. His wife is very happy with him and is vocal about how much she loves him.

I really think that the little sweet gestures can go a long way. It can make her feel special even when she’s feeling low. Women can sometimes feel so lonely and sad and unloved due to hormones. But if her man knows when to get the flower delivery guy to come and hand over the lovely bouquet, then his woman is one lucky gal!

I saw this in Pinterest and immediately fell in love with it!

I love any Roman-type sandals. I love flats and anything that I can feel totally comfortable wearing. I hope I can find that photo above locally. I want the same style and design so I hope I can find the same one.

One of the things I learned the past couple of months is how to become creative. There was a period when income was down so I had to resort to creativity when giving gifts so that I could still give something beautiful and personal yet affordable or even very cheap.

Now that income is back to normal, I still use what I learned when giving out gifts. For this coming Valentine’s Day, I thought why not get some valentines photo frames, put a special photo of me with the recipient, and then wrap it with a ribbon. Personalized and affordable!

A little creativity can go a long way.

There are persons you just love giving presents to. These are individuals who know how to say thanks for and value the gift you have given them. My brother’s girlfriend’s dad is such a person. My brother gave him swisher sweets cigars because he learned from his girlfriend that the old man loves cigars. To show my brother just how much he appreciates the gift, he has it on whenever he comes for a visit. He smokes it every other night and especially when my brother’s at their place.

It’s just his way of showing him that he is loving the gift and that he is actually using it.

My brother’s glad that his gesture is appreciated.

The number of godsons I have is growing by leaps and bounds. Every month it seems a friend or co-worker of mine gives birth and I always receive a call or a text message informing me of being godmother to their child. No problem with me. My godsons outnumber my goddaughters. That’s why I am always ready with gifts for boys. It is best to be ready with it so that whenever I will be invited to a special occasion in their lives, I have a gift ready to bring with me.

I may be doing something good to be always considered a second mother to young kids!

Robie always wears his Alpinestars Jacket. He has this poker-faced look all the time but whenever he is wearing his cool jacket, it makes him seem more approachable. That’s what others are telling his parents. And they just smile when they hear about it.

Robie is their ‘middle-aged’ child. He may be the youngest among their three children but he is the most serious among them and the one who seem to be carrying the world on his shoulders. They believe it has something to do with being taken seriously by all the elders around him that made him that way.

We love to do movie marathons at home. Whenever we do that, of course, we make sure there will be popcorn tubs for each one of us. It really is the perfect partner for movie watching.

This weekend we are planning another movie marathon session. What about you, what are you watching?

Mitch is a fashion designer. Aside from her love of beautiful clothes, she also loves hats. Hats, yes you read it right. She loves it and makes a hat for each dress she makes. She is that in love with hats!

I remember seeing her creation and was amazed by it. If I am not mistaken I sent her a message telling her that she can already create hats for royalty. And I was telling the truth! Her is one of a kind designs and I do hope her hats will become more popular in the future.

Here’s to more cupcakes and sprinkles, blessings and fruits, and only LOVE no hate!

Sorry I was not able to greet you earlier. I am really busy with school and all. I hope to be able to update here more.

They met in kindergarten. They fought over a toy, cried and when they stopped became friends. From then on, their friendship blossomed into a great one that endured decades. They have a titanium partnership ring each. They gave it to each other when their first business venture celebrated its 3rd anniversary. Their friendship/partnership is really something to admire by everyone.

They call each other partners for life. Instead of best friends, they call each other partners because they are not only friends, they are also business partners.

What an admirable friendship that stood through time!
